Complete Review Of SunSetter Awnings

Complete Review Of  SunSetter Awnings At A Glance

Editor Rating   ***** 5 out of 5  last Reviewed 05/04/07
The Good This company has it's act together. From quality products to excelent customer service but what really impress me is their attention to details
The Bad Limited choice of colors and patterns to chose from
Bottom Line They are number 1 in the industry for retractable awnings. I strongly recomend this company

SunSetter awnings is in a class by themselves. They do things

different than other awning makers. Other manufactures who are mostly local awning companies try to be all things to all people.

Small Selection Of Quality Products

SunSetter on the other hand do what they do best. They have a selection of retractable awnings thats small enough to allow them to keep strict quality control on their products. This means that the chances of you having a problem with your retractable awning is almost nonexistent.

Installation Hot Line

They do realize that problems do happen especially with installation on different surfaces. They have a department that does nothing more than answer customers question about installation and other problems that might occur. They have the installation hot line ready to help should you need it.

20 Degrees Cooler

Most awnings today are made from sunbrella. Sunbrella is a great fabric and you can get it in just about and pattern or color that you desire. The problem with sunbrella, or canvas or almost any other awning material is the heat just comes on through. You are in the shade but it is still plenty hot.

SunSetter uses an exclusive material and thats what makes the difference. About 20 degrees different. Thanks to the five layers of material and their exclusive striping process the difference can be amazing. It's like having outdoor air conditioning.

The fabric blocks out 99.9% of the harmful UVa and UVb rays that been tested by independent laboratories. The fabric is also recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Bigger Selection?

My one complaint against SunSetter awnings is that the color selection is small. I would like to see a greater choice of colors and design. I also realize that the stripe patterns that they have are there because the strips helps keep you cool under the awning. I would rather be cool than to have an awesome looking awning I could not stand to be under.

SunSetter has an instructional DVD and a $200 savings coupon that is your for the asking.

I highly recommend SunSetter awnings but the proof is in the pudding so to speak.
