Verticell By Bali - Good Looking And Easy To Use
The Verticell shade by Bali is another winner in the competition for good window treatments that are user friendly. This should come as no surprise being that it comes from Bali. What's so great about the verticell?
- It's user friendly. By user friendly I mean that the people at Bali have taken all the bad points that similar type shades have and reworked the blind to be easy to use. Case in point: the Vertical alternative can be opened from both sides allowing you access to clean behind the blind. Similar type blinds are extremely hard to clean behind unless your a contortionist.
They have also improved the track mechanism. It works smoothly and is extremely easy to open and close. This is not true with some of the other brands, Hunter Douglas especially has trouble with it's track. They had a fairly good track when they first introduced their shade but changed tracks a few years ago and have had nothing but trouble with the new one.
- It's a great insulator! In this time when energy prices are rising out of reach, this is a big point. With an R-Factor of over 5 on the Double Cell Shades - this is big bucks you will be saving. So what's the disadvantages?
As with any cell shade you cannot see out when they are in use. They are an all or none type blind. When in use you can't see out and when not in use you have no privacy. If you want to see out then you need to stay with the vertical for larger openings.
The Bali Verticell can be used with other cell shades to give you that uniform look through out your room as seen in the picture above.
Pricing on this vertical alternative is higher than regular cell shades but a lot cheaper than competing products especially the Hunter Douglas Product.
