Vertical Blind Parts - Almost Impossible To Find
Welcome! Take this trip to cyber vertical blind parts utopia. Paradise it was when I ran across this site.
When I sold my window treatment business all the acumulated vertical parts of the past thirty years went with it. The new owner, not realizing what a treasure trove he had, pitched all the parts. I almost cried.
The stores that sell vertical blinds don't carry parts, and the big box stores don't carry blind parts. There is no money in a 50 cent part, let alone rummaging through boxes of parts to find it.
The only place you can find vertical blind parts is on the blind installers truck- if you can find the blind installer. He moves around, is hard to track down, and makes money repairing or replaceing vertical blinds. It's not in his best interest to sell you a vertical blind part.
What you need is a place where you can put your broken part up next to a new part to compare it and make sure it fits.
You want to be able to fix the broken hole in the vertical slat, not get a new slat when this one will due just fine if only I can get the part.
You want to examine the thickness of the replacement cord to make sure it the exact size or close enough to be acceptable.
