Aluminum Blinds Have Been The Blind Of Choice For Decades
Aluminum blinds have been dressing window in good looks for decades. There is just something special about the rich vibrate color that these blinds bring to your window.
Its the same type of feeling you get when you gaze with rapture at your new car. There is that majestic feeling of WOW Thats Gorgeous giving you a sence of accomplisment knowing you made a good decision.
What color is your vavorite? My wife's would be blue, mine would be yellow and yours would be ....! Which ever color you choose you can get a aluminum blind specially made to your size in that color.
Aluminum blins come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some of your choices are:

The thing you need to watch out for in these blind is the thickness of the aluminum slat. Anything from an 8 guage slat on up is a quality product. Anything less than 8 guage and your on your own.
If your a landlord and you know you will need to replace the blind in a year then get the 6 gauge or lower and plan on replacing.

Most blind shops or decorating centers won't carry these cheaper blinds because the is little profit incentive for them.
The big difference between the aluminum blind and the cheaper vinyl blind is looks. You just can't get that rich vibrant color with vinyl.
With vinyl the color just lays there. With aluminum the color actually get up and shouts to the looker "I'm awesome".
As you can see cats love to play in blinds - I think it scratches them all over - So if you have cats I would deffinitlly sugest the bigger opening between slats such as the venetian or 2" slatted blind. You might also consider the stronger slat size.
No matter which style or size of aluminum blind you choose you are sure to get a blind that will last for years and give you good service.
