2inch Window Blinds The Visibility and Light Control Pro

Back in the eighties when Twiggy was the model to watch everything went thin. 2inch window blinds long the standard started being replaced by smaller mini blinds. Then to add insult to injury they came out with a micro mini blind.

If you ever want to drive a house cleaning perfectionist bonkers just give them a set of micro mini blinds. The smaller the slat size the harder they are to clean, and forget about visibility.

Like any fad, sense and sensibility soon returned and the 2inch window blind was returned to it's venerable position as king of the hill.

Whats so special about the 2inch blind?:

• allows for good light control
• allows for greater visibility
• They are easy to clean

Why is light control important? In my younger days it wasn't very important, but as I get older I've learned to appreciate greater amounts of light. I need brighter lighting to read and to type on the computer, as I'm doing right now.

The 2 inch window blinds really allow a lot of light to come through. When you tilt the slats to keep the sun out, they still allow adequate room lighting.

Notice also how you can see out the window. You don't need to squint thru skinny slats to look out. The 2" window blinds allows for greater visibility.

With the smaller size blinds you can't do that unless you have them all the way open, and then you loose your sun control. 2inch blinds are just the bomb when it comes to visibility and light control

These areas of concern might not be important right now, but remember time marches on and these blinds last a long time. The closer you are to forty the more you need to keep these things in mind.

Most important of all, these 2inch blinds are the easiest of all the slated blinds to clean. The easiest of all blinds in general to clean is the smooth pvc vertical blind. These 2inch window blinds are a breeze to clean compared to the mini and especially the micro.

You can get between the slats to dust, and you will be dusting because all horizontal blinds love to collect dust, and do an extremely good job of it. To clean these blinds you can close them completely, and using a rag or a swiffer make quick work of the dust.

Their ease of cleaning is especially beneficial if you have pets and young children who like to leave there prints around. Just a little windex or other mild soap and they come sparkling clean with little or no work.
