2 Inch Metal Window Blinds For Great Visibility

As I sit and write this article I am amazed that the 2 inch metal window blinds give so much visibility.

The weather today is dreary and I got frustrated trying to look out the window as I started to write this article. The window I'm in front of has a mini blind on it and on a day like today it just doesn't let enough light through.

In frustration I pulled the mini blind up so I could see out. It seams like the older I get the more I like light and the ability to see out. I guess that is part of getting older and life.

Anyway I went to another room where we have 2" metal blinds and I couldn't believe the difference . The macro blinds do make a difference. They have the ability to control a lot more light and privacy with just a quick flick of the wrist.

In Europe all horizontal blinds are called Venetian blinds. So if your searching the web and run across Venetian blinds you are probably on a European site.

Back to that bad publicity. It's a bum rap due to the fact that it has to do with dust and plain looks.

All horizontal blinds love to collect dust. It's in their blood. They just naturally stick those horizontal slats out there, and the dust looking for a place to land just can't resist those gorgeous colors and sleek smooth slats.

My point is all horizontal blinds do the same thing. So why put all the blame on the 2 inch metal window blinds? They all do a good job of collecting dust. If you don't want your blinds collecting dust then vertical blinds are your blind of choice.

The second thing they get accused of is plain or boring looks. That used to be true because they came in white or alabaster with white cloth tapes. That was pretty much your only choices. So you can see why they were boring.

Today though, how does twenty decorator colors of slats to mix and match with twenty one colors of cloth tapes sound. Doesn't sound very boring anymore does it? With all those choices you can get as bold as you want.

How does teaberry slats with jade green tapes sound? My youngest daughter would love it and you definitely couldn't call that combination plain or unexciting.

If you have a number of windows together you can get two or three blinds mounted on the same headrail to give you a solid look yet individual controls for each blind.

2 inch metal window blinds are waiting to make a come back. They are versatile as well as colorful and inviting. Use them in your decorating to make a statement!
